Celebrate Father’s Day in a meaningful way by joining us on Sunday, June 15, 2025 AT 9:00 am for our Inaugural Father’s Day 5K Run/Walk at Delaware Park! Whether you’re running in honor of your dad, as a dad, or simply looking to enjoy a fun day with family, this event is the perfect way to celebrate fatherhood.
This fun and family-friendly race will bring together our community to celebrate dads, support healthy living, while creating lasting memories. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to run, walk, or jog at their own pace.
All proceeds for this event will be used to support local organizations dedicated to helping give back to fathers and families in need in WNY.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Race day registration (bib pickup) will be at the finish line near the Indian Statue and begin at 8:00 am. The 5K Run/Walk will start at 9:00 am sharp. All participants who register by June 1, 2025 are guaranteed to receive an official race day t-shirt. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone.
Please allow about 5 minutes to walk from the packet pickup area to the starting line located closer to the Buffalo Zoo parking lot.

START/FINISH
The 5K Run/Walk will take place in Delaware Park with a start time of 9:00 am. The 5K will start on Ring Road near the Buffalo Zoo Parking Lot (see course map). This is a 1 3/4 loop course around Delaware Park. The finish line is located near the Indian Statue in the southeast corner of the park.
PARKINGThere is a small lot located near the Indian statue and street parking is also available. 5K AWARDSCash Prizes will be presented to the top overall 5K male and female finishers at the post race celebration. Age group awards (see below) will also be distributed. Custom finisher certificates and finish line photos can also be accessed via the RESULTS button at the top of this page.
Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
